Safety first from start to finish. Evidence of this is our rate of safety incidents trending downward for 10 years and is well below the industry average. Our safety program ranks as one of the best amongst our peers. We attribute this success to our culture of continuous improvement that uses a variety of industry best-practices such as leading indicators of safety to ensure we proactively identify and mitigate concerns before an injury occurs. This is the foundation of our injury prevention culture, which we practice every day on every project.

Our safety process is designed to promote two-way interaction with the workforce, because we believe that safety is everyone’s moral and professional obligation–no matter what your role on the project is. Each team member is empowered to perform duties in the safest manner possible, and to raise their hand to ensure their peers are safe as well. Through the diligent efforts of our Regional Safety Directors and the entire workforce onsite, we have consistently achieved low Experience Modification Rates in the California construction markets, and received many safety awards.
