The entry level Accounting Associate’s position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to start off their accounting career. This position is a vital part of the Accounting team. The Accounting Associate position will be provided with ample training and the necessary hands-on experience from working with a team of experienced professionals.


  • Review and process Employee Expenses making sure they comply with current company policies & IRS regulations
  • Prepare Bank Account Reconciliations
  • Prepare General Ledger Reconciliations
  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries including support for month-end and year-end close activities
  • Assist with entering and processing of Accounts Payable and other payments
  • Review and process Accounts Receivable
  • Assist the team with miscellaneous projects including audits, reports and special government reporting requirements, etc.
  • Maintaining various prepaid schedules
  • Updating various compliance items for vendors and subcontractors
  • Additional duties may be added


Internal: Accounting Staff, Project Accountants, Accounting Manager, Corporate Controller, CFO

External: Vendors, Subcontractors, Others


The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude and desire to learn. Strong conceptual and analytical skills are essential. Basic knowledge of GAAP is helpful. Effective written and oral communication skills are strongly desired as well. Sound organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are critical. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and enterprise software is required. Good listening skills and the ability to understand and follow directions. High energy level to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Possession of exceptional interpersonal skills is needed to effectively interact with different people within and outside of the organization.


Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is highly desired. Possession of an AA degree in Accounting and one to three years of experience in Accounting is also welcomed.
